We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated School Counselor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting students' academic achievement, career development, and personal/social growth. As a School Counselor, you will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to create a safe and supportive learning environment. You will provide individual and group counseling, develop and implement guidance programs, and assist students in overcoming challenges that may affect their educational experience.
The School Counselor will also play a key role in identifying students' needs and connecting them with appropriate resources both within and outside the school. You will help students develop skills such as decision-making, conflict resolution, and goal setting. Additionally, you will collaborate with teachers to identify students who may need additional support and work with families to ensure consistent communication and involvement in their child’s education.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, as well as experience in counseling or psychology. You must be able to manage multiple responsibilities, maintain accurate records, and comply with all ethical and legal standards.
